THREE ACCIDENTS

CONDUCTRESS INJURED

Miss S. Davis-Goff, tram conductress, suffered a fractured pelvis when she was caught between two trams near the corner of Willis and Manners Streets at 4.45 p.m. yesterday. She was readujsting the trolley-pole of her tram, which, was on a grade, when it moved backwards, and she was caught between it and a tram immediately behind. The Free Ambulance took her to the Public Hospital, where her condition this morning was reported to be fairly satisfactory. A fireman on the Nelson ferry steamer Matangi, Mr. J. Farrer, received head injuries and severe bruises when he waf blown down the stokehold in a heavy wind in Cook Strait at 4.30 this morning. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital, and he was released after receiving treatment. When he fell through a window at the Government Film Studios, Miramar, early this morning, Mr. G. F. T. Bridgeman, art director of the Studios, received head injuries and suffered shock. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance, which received the call at 12.45 a.m.
