ARGENTINE RULE
ENFORCED WITH SABRES
BUENOS AIRES, August 31. The Argentine Radical Party states that mounted police used sabres against men, women, and children and injured a number of people in breaking up an anti-Government demonistration by 50,000 party members. ! The police used sabres even inside hotel bars, hitting people brutally. The rectors and deans of the nation's six leading universities have resolved to ask the Argentine Supreme Court to take over the Government of the country and hold a national election immediately.
