SUPPLIES FOR PRISONERS OF WAR
LONDON, August 24. Allied planes on mercy missions will shower supplies on Saturday on the detention camps in Japan which contain 32,000 Allied prisoners of war. Some of the camps are believed to be located at Atsugi, where- the first occupation forces will land. The Japanese located many of the camps near primary military targets, in spite of Allied protests, and Allied bombs killed some of the prisoners.
