SMUGGLING ARMS
CHARGE AGAINST GUARD
Rec. 9 a.m. ; LONDON, August 14. One of the guards at Fresnes orison, where Laval and other alleged collaborators are awaiting trial, has been arrested and charged with attempting to smuggle arms to the prisoners, says the Paris correspondent of the Associated Press. The guard was arrested on the outskirts of the city while trying to escape.
