WOMEN'S HOCKEY
DOMINION TOURNAMENT
The first women's Dominion hockey tournament to be held since 1940 will be played at Melville Park, Auckland, commencing on September 8. The games will be under the control ot the Auckland Women's Hockey Association, the ground to be used being considered the finest women's playing area in the Dominion. The following is the order of play:— Saturday, September 8: Wairarapa y. Auckland, Canterbury v. Wanganui, Otago v. Rangitikei, Poverty Bay v. Wellington. Monday, September 10: Wairarapa v. Canterbury, Auckland v. Wanganui, Rangitikei v. Poverty Bay, Otago v. Wellington. Tuesday, September 11: Wairarapa v. Wanganui, Auckland v. Otago, Canterbury v. Poverty Bay, Rangitikei v. Wellington. Wednesday, September 12: Wairarapa v. Otago, Auckland v. Rangitikei, Wanganui v. Poverty Bay, Wellington v. Canterbury. Thursday, September 13: Wairarapa v. Rangitikei, Auckland v. Poverty Bay. Canterbury v. Otago, Wanganui v. Wellington. Friday, September 14: Wairarapa v. Poverty Bay, Auckland v. Wellington, Wanganui y. Otago, Canterbury v. Rangitikei. Saturday, September 15: Wairarapa v, Wellington, Auckland v. Canterbury, Wanganui v. Rangitikei, Poverty Bay; v. Otago. ,
