IMPORT BAN LIFTED
AUSTRALIAN DECISION
LONDON, August 3,
The lifting of the import restrictions on more than 100 items, covering a wide range of goods, is announced by the Minister of Customs, Senator Keane. The goods include men's suits kitchenware, cutlery, varnishes, industrial machinery, wrist watches, printers' materials, surgical •appliances cream separators, wall and ceiling parts and decorations, cups and saucers and other household utensils. Items which are still totally prohibited are tinned salmon, sardines, and other preserved fish.
