Allegations by Greek Left-wing organisations and others that the Greek Government is< severely persecuting Left-wing supporters are regarded in London as grossly exaggerated. Official quarters are satisfied that the Greek Government is working very hard to secure order within a democratic regime. /It has decreed severe penalties against the illegal carrying of arms by any organisation, v/hether Left or Right.
