Stock, 15/12/53-SG, £97 15s. ZINC CORPORATION RESULTS. The Zinc Corporation, Ltd., advises that the directors' report states: Since the close of the year, a scheme for the organisation of the- capital structure has been approved by shareholders at a meeting held on March 7, and subsequently sanctioned by the Court. The scheme became effective on. April 12, and will be reflected in the accounts of the* current year ending December 31, 1915. The tonnage of ore mined during the year was 413,127, compared with 149,628 in the preceding .venr. Ore reserves at December 31, I!M4, were estimated at: Lead lode 4,100,000 tons/zinc lode 277,000 tons. In a detailed statement of -the milling results and financial results of 1944, compared with those of 1913, it is shown that with £58,932 brought forward, the total available is £165,571. Dividends will be paid out of the profits, of 1944 at the same rate as those for the preceding year, namely, a fixed cumulative preferential, absorbing a gross £49,138 (net £36,240) and two participating dividends of Is a share each, taking a gross £89,583 (net £66,258). The balance carried forward will be £63,043. The annual general meeting will be held oil July 17. All; amounts are expressed in English currency.
