CHANNEL GUN-POSTS BLOWN UP
LONDON, June 23. People sunbathing on Dover beach today saw the end of the concrete emplacements from which the German cross-channel guns used to shell the area. Explosions shook Dover and great columns of smoke rose from the clearly visible French coast as the emplacements were blown up.
