FOOD FOR GERMAN PEOPLE Rec 12 30 p.m! LONDON, June 22. It is officially announced that food stocks in the British zone in. occupied Germany will by the winter be 4,000,000 tons short of meeting the average ration demands of the German civilians, reports the correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain ■ at the 21st Army Group headquarters, in consequence of the policy onginally adopted that Germany must feed herself having been moderated. Negotiations are now going on for the importation of a limited amount of food into Germany.
