I Itheiwordll ! —i I BIBLEB^^I iTRUm' /^HRISTADELPHIAN LECTURE (God Willie ing), 1.0.0. F. Hall, Allen St. (opp. Paramount Theatre, Courtenay PI). Sunday, at i p m Subject: "The Punishment of the Wicked." Bible Teaching is: (1) That "the wages of sin is death" and that death is really death—an "enemy" (Roms. 6:23, Koms. 1:32, Roms 8:13, Gals. 6 :8, 1 Cor. 15:26, kec. 9:5 and 10). (2) That "as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law," consequently death is the end i for ever of the unenlightened wicked (Roms. 2 :12, Luke 3:3, Matt. 7:13, John 8:24, Psa. 49:20, Psa. 88:5, Prov. 21:16). (3) That "as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law," therefore the enlightened wicked must be brought to life again by resurrection at the second coming of Christ to "appear bofore the judgment seat of Christ" (Roms 2:12, John 9:41, John 12:48, John 15:22, Acts 24:15, Dan 12:2, 2 'Tim. 4:1, 1 Cor. 4:5, 2 Cor. 5:10). (4) That these wicked being rejected by Jesus suffer "shame and contempt," culminating in final and complete extinction by "The second death" (Matt. 25:46, Dan. 12:2, 2 Thess. 1:7-10, Rev. 2 :11, Psa. 37 :20, Job 20-5-S, Mai. 4:1-3, etc.). (5) It will also be shown that the true meaning of the Hebrew and Greek originals, - "Sheol," "Hades," and "Gehenna," translated "hell,". "pit," "grave, and "hell-fire" in the Scriptures is in perfect harmony with the plain and definite teaching of the Scriptures as above. "If we walk In the light . . . the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us tfrom all sin" (1 John 1:7, Psa, 119:130, 2 Tim. 3:15, Isa. 8:20, Isa. 00:2, John 5:39). Questions invited. JESUS preached the approaching fulfilment of the Gospel which God revealed to Abraham and the only way of participation "The Scripture foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by. faith preached the Gospel beforehand unto Abraham. They which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. God saith not to him of seeds as of many, but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ." "The Jews said, We be Abraham's 'seed. Jesus saith, If ye were Abraham's children ye would do the works of Abraham. But ye seek to kill me that hath told you the truth, this did not Abraham. Ye are of your father the devil. . . . Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw and was glad. . . . Jesus went throughout every city and village preaching and showing the glad tidings of the Kingdom of God. Whosoever will save his life shall lose it, but who shall lose his life for my sake and the Gospel's shall save it." "He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved."
