MARCHING TEAMS AT DANCE
To celebrate the success of Wellington inter-house girls' marching teams throughout the past year, a'dance was held recently in Bryant Maybell's recreation hall, which ~was gaily decorated for the occasion. During the evening Mr. G. S. Austad (president)'■'"'coittmende'd--the s girls on their keenness.,.-He.also spoke of. the excellent co-operation given the association::fey; Mr.vMeClay (managing director of Bryant.and May, BelJ and Co.',' Ltd.), who' had'placed the hall at their disposal .that evening. Dance music was provided by. an excellent orchestra, and Mr. Roily-Hill was master of ceremonies. Supper was prepared' and served by a capable committee directed: by Sister Gillespie.
