MR. D. H. BUTCHER
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The death occurred suddenly of Mr. David Henry Butcher, Sub-Collector of Customs, Christchurch, aged '57. Mr. Butcher was born in Waipara, and educated at Hampden, Otago. On leaving school he entered the Marine Department, later transferring to the Customs Department.
