RUGBY, June 9
Amended cumulative casualty figures lor British and Canadian ground forces in the 21st Army Group show (that from D Day to YE Day the British suffered a total of 144,194 casualties, including 30,649 killed, 98,951 wounded, and 14,994 missing, while the Canadian ground forces suffered a total of 43,953, including 10,307 killed, 31,120 wounded, and 2537 missing, says a SHAEF correspondent.—B.O.W.
