AFTERMATH OF SPANISH CIVIL WAR
MADRID, June 10. The sub-director of Spanish prisons, Senor Juan Casanova, issued a statement that 23,000 political prisoners are still held in Spanish gaols, but that a special commission is reviewing the sentences at the rate of 80 to 90 daily "to wipe out traces of the civil war."
