FIRST BIG ALLIED SHIP AT HAMBURG

LONDON, June 8

The Fort Gibraltar, the first big Allied supply ship to sail into Hamburg Harbour, tied up at the only undamaged quay in the whole port, says the "Evening Standard's" correspondent at Hamburg. The vessel had a 10,000-ton cargo. A German piloted the ship up the Elbe. Hundreds of people gazed curiously at the big ship flying the Red Ensign.
