REHABILITATION POLICY
O.C. NELSON, June 1. A change in the Rehabilitation De ; partment's policy which will, give loral committees wider powers than in the oast, is to be put into effect shortJy. In Nelson a new .committee will be set up, consisting of the District Rehabilitation Officer, the branch manager of the State Advances? Corporation, and a member of the pubHc who will be a returned soldier. This committee will be responsible for deciding the amounts to be advanced to ex-serviceman in an area extending as far south as Kaikoura on the East Coast and Jackson's Bay on the West Coast. These facts were .eiven by lh.fi district rehabilitation officer, Mr. J. Moore, in an address to the Nelf son Rotary Club.
