Finding permanent homes and jobs for returned men and reorganised war workers is only part of the colossal task of rehabilitation. Thousands of young families are setting up new homes. They need peace and comfort, and their fair share of "home" life which they have so long been denied. But there is the problem. The very things that contribute most to health, brightness, and comfort in wellordered homes are impossible to obtain. War places radios, refrigerators, washing machines, electric food mixers, vacuum cleaners, and numerous other home helps right out of reach. There is one solution. It lies in the vast quantity of seldom-used equipment lying idle in many homes throughout ■New Zealand.
A Dominion-wide search is at present being conducted through the ten branches of Charles Begg and Co., Ltd., for all such equipment. If, in your home, you have any of the articles listed above, that are either out of order or not in regular use, get in touch with Begg's and they will adjust and repair them for you, or if you prefer to sell Begg's will give you a present-day market valuation and pay you cash on the spot.
