NEARLY £14,000,000
WELLINGTON'S FINE EFFORT At the close of business yesterday, the investments in the Victory Loan totalled £13,940.796, after almost a fortnight's campaign. Yesterday's Dominion subscriptions totalled £302,212, including £39,115 in redeemed promises. The Wellington district has subscribed £2,487,755, or 67 per cent, of its objective, and it continues to head the other districts.
