OIL PIPELINE SEVERED BY SABOTEURS
Rec. 9 a.m. JERUSALEM, May 23< Unknown saboteurs blew up in two places a vital pipeline belonging to the Iran Petroleum Company, says an-of-ficial communique. • The statement adds: "The damage will affect the con-; duct of the war against Japan, and the attack, therefore, is considered to be direct interference with the , war effort." " Three telegraph poles were damaged by the explosion and four more in the vicinity were found to be mined*
