LIBERATED MEN HOME
SYDNEY, May 24. The first group of Australian prisoners of war liberated in Germany by the Russian and American forces has arrived in Sydney. The men were freed by the Allied advances into Germany from the east and west after four years in German prisoner of war camps. They praised their Russian and American liberators for the way they had treated them after their liberation. , • All the men appeared to be in excellent condition.
