GREECE'S DIFFICULTIES
PREMIER OPTIMISTIC Rec. 12.45 p.m. ATHENS, May 24. The Greek Premier, M. Voulgaris, reviewing Greece's difficult economic, financial, and food situation, expressed unreserved optimism that disquiet was altogether unjustified. "Better days lie ahead, thanks to the Allied help, which will continue to flow in generously," he said. M. Voulgaris revealed that goods valued at £50,000,000 are being shipped to Greece free of charge within two months.
