ACTUALLY ORDERED
Invasion of England Rec. 12.40 p.m. RUGBY, May 24. The captured . General Jodl admitted that the German General Staff had actually ordered an invasion of England, beginning on July 2,1940, but that this was called off. Invasion was finally called off on October 22 of that year, withont any real attempt to land, though a German battalion had been caught in a barge exercise by the K.A.F., says a broadcast from Supreme Headquarters.—B.O.W.
