RIGHT TO HOLD
Sir,—ln reference to the threat of the Government to take over the private shares in the Bank of New Zealand, has not a shareholder the right to refuse to sell his shares? I am not a shareholder, but I should like to see this serious issue tested in the Supreme Court, and failing satisfaction there, taken to the Privy Council in England, i should like to see a fund opened so that we could help financially in such a case. Will all the private shareholders lie flown to this Government steam roller, or will some sturdy ones be up and doing?—l am, etc., . ANTI-SOCIALIST.
