WEDDING
ROGERS—GRAY. The marriage took place recently at St Mary's Cathedral Church, Parnell, Auckland, of Betty, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Gray, of Okato. to Sergeant Cyril Rogers, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Rogers, of Auckland. The Rev. Dean Fancourt was the officiating minister. The bridegroom has since left for overseas. The bride, who was given in marriage by Mr' Charlton Edgar, wore a model frock of woodland green moss crepe, the low-waisted bodice featuring a peplum effect from which the skirt fell in soft folds. She wore a hat of the same colour, with matching ruching. Her bouquet was in autumn-shaded roses a^d chWsanthemums: The bride s sister Mrs. Malcolm Wheeler, who attended her as matron of honour, wore a frock of rose-nink moss creoe. made with a deep, tucked bodice. .She wore a black fur-felt hat and named a bounuet of nink and blue flowers. Mr. F Lees, Birkenhead, was best man. A small reception was held at the home of Mr. pnd Mrs. Edgar at Mt Eden Mrs. Edgar wore a ft'Qck of black pebble cloque. trimmed with black satin with a corsage spray of gold chrysanthemums.
