DIVORCE PETITIONS
Nearly 130 undefended divorce petitions have been filed for hearing at the current ouarterly sessions of the Supreme Court in Wellington. This number continues the trend in divorce figures which has been evident during the war years. In 1938 the total number of such petitions Tiled in Wellington was 264, and in 1939 it was 277. Last year the total was 478.
