BODY FOUND IN RIVER
The body of Mr. Frank Wilson Ashby, inspector of factories at Hamilton, was found in the Waikato River yesterday. 'Mr. Ashby, who had been missing 'from his home in Hamilton East since April 19, was well known in Wellington, where he was on the Labour Department's staff as an inspector before being transferred some years ago to take charge of the Hamilton district. He was a serviceman of the last war, in which he lost an arm. Mr. Ashby, who was 56 years of age, is survived by his wife and two daughters. >< ~■
It was officially announced in Rome that the explosion on a munitions ship at Bari on April .11, when several hundreds were killed and vast destruction .was caused, was entirely accidental.
