. EXPECTATION IN LONDON (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.)
LONDON. April 29. The "Sunday Times," pointing out that "the enemjj targets available to heavy bombers in the European theatre are under one-tenth of what they were •before D Day, says that the Anglo- ' American High Command must soon 'decide the future of these bombing forces. The decision will almost inevitably mean the diversion of much Allied strength to the Far East.
• Now that the Americans have island •bases within a comparatively short distance of the Japanese mainland, it is reasonable Xo '"assume thajtr: they -will fcall on some-of the superfluous-squad-rons of Lanqasters and Salifajxes in Europe as remfoi-cements in order to intensify the attack against .Japan.
