EXPLORATORY DELEGATION
P.A. ' " AUCKLAND, This Day. "I don't believe personally, that there will be any overnight change from war production in England.to the production of civilian and consumer goods," said the chairman of the British Rayon Federation, Sir Percy •' Ashley, who arrived by flying-boat from Sydney on Saturday. Sir Percy is leading a delegation from the federation to explore the possibilities of trade in rayon goods between Britain and New Zealand and Australia. His Dominion visit is at the invitation of the New Zealand Government. Other members of the delegation are Mr.,J. R. K. Tyre, chairman of the rayon exporters' section of the London Chamber of Commerce, Mr. A. P. T. Holden, an expert on weaving wool and rayon mixture cloth, Mr. H. 8.-Gee, of the federation, who is secretary of the delegation.' The delegation left by air for .Wellington yesterday and will Visit the four main centres and confer with Government representatives and representatives of trade and industry.
