MISSING WOMAN
The search of the Wilton's Bush area where Miss Jean Martin was last seen was not continued yesterday or today, but detectives are continuing their investigations. They ask that any persons who possess information concerning the disappearance communicate with the police immediately.
"I am amazed at the amount of scientific work done in New Zealand," said Dr. S. Sambursky, a scientist from the University at Jerusalem,' when he addressed the Rotary Club yesterday. He had not expected to find New Zealand so far advanced in science, and he was very impressed with the scientific development here. "But with such men as Dr. Marsden (who introduced the speaker), you cannot help being well up in science."
