THIRD RAID ON TOKIO?
NEW YORK, February 25. Tokio radio issued a warning last night that enemy bombers had penetrated Shizuoka Prefecture and were heading towards Tokio, indicating a third attack on the capital in one day.
The radio admitted that carrier plane and Super-Fortress attacks had damaged airfields, military installations, and transport facilities on Honshiu.
Bombs fell on Kobe in addition to Tokio. The radio claimed that 35 American plaries were shot down and five damaged.
The record task force of over 200 Super-Fortresses which attacked industrial targets in the Tokio area on Sunday lost no planes.
