GIRLS' MARCHING
P-A. WAXGAXUI, February 25. A crowd of 8000 on Saturday night attended tho New Zealand girls' marching championships' which were held in Ideal weather. The marching championship was won by Hawera Technical School Old Girls, with South Canterbury second, Troubadours, Wanganui third, and McKenzio's, Wanganui, fourth. Miss N. Gutlirics, MrGruer'.s, Wangnnui, was champion leader. Wellington Woollen Mills lieaded the points list for costumes. The aggregate in points for marching, leader, and costumes, was won by South Canterbury, with McKcnzie's, Wanganui, second, and Troubadours, ( Wanganui, third.
