CRICKET CAPTAINS
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The New Zealand Cricket Council has appointed I. B. Cromb captain of the South Island cricket team and M. W. Wallace captain of the North Island team. The South Island team has now been completed by the inclusion of L. A. Butteriield. J. G. Leggat, K. F. M. Uttley (Canterbury), and Langford Smith (Otago), who take the place of the four who are unable to make the trip—Cave, Hadlee, Mcßae, and Roberts.
