MIGHTY EXPLOSION
BOMBING OF ROCKET SITE
Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, February 23. A .store of explosives," probably V 2 war-heads, blew up with a mighty explosion when R.A.F. Spitfire bombers, including Australians, pin-pointed a rocket site in Holland yesterday, says the Air Ministry news service. The explosion was so violent that pilots who were flying high, awaiting their turn to attack the target, felt their planes rock. A smoke streamer 10 miles long was seen pouring from the ruins hours later. -Excellent bombing results were reported from a number of other sites. No planes are missing;
