SEARCH FOR SPIES
ARRIVALS IN U.S.A.
Rec- 12.45 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb 23 Officers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Army and Navy Intelligence Services are conducting an intensive search for at least four suspected Nazi spies aboard the Gripsholm, which arrived on February 21 bringing 1209 passengers from Europe' including 62 repatriated American civil nans. At least one suspect is a woman and another is believed to be a former high-ranking officer of. the German army. Less than half of the civilians so far have been allowed to land
