FINDING OF NO-BILL
The Grand Jury in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon found nobill in the case of Anzac Harold Lane, 26, soldier and bootmaker, who had been committed for trial on a charge of obtaining £3 3s from the Army Department by means of a false pretence.
BRITISH OFFICERS' MISSION Rec. 1 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 6. Major-General E. B. Rowcroft, Director of Mechanical Engineering in the United Kingdom, and MajorGeneral D. R. Duguid, Director of Mechanical Engineering in India, have come to Australia to study the lessons of the Pacific war and acquire experience that will be useful in the Southeast Asia campaign.
