SWIMMING
The Inter-club swimming carnival, which was postponed on Saturday night because of the wet weather, will now be held at tiie Thorndon Baths next Monday night. The first event will take place at 7.45. The carnival is being conducted by the Hataital Swimming Club. Included in the programme are two Wellington centre championship events, the 880 yds freestyle and the women's 220 yds freestyle.
