PINNED FRUITS
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Despite all the reasons why we cannot have tinned fruit for Christmas, why is it some of our grocers give a very different explanation? Some stores make no secret of the quantities of tinned fruit, etc., they have stored, and even explain to the customers that although every bit of it is paid for, the Government will not allow them to release it.—l am, etc., PUZZLED.
