SHORTAGE OF HOMES
! SYDNEY, December 5. lo overcome Australia's housing shortage will require at least ten years after the war. This statement was made today by Mr. Walter Burining. senior officer of the Post-war Reconstruction Department, when addressing the all-Austra-lia timber congress. Australia is already 175,000 dwellings short of her! requirements, while a further 82.000 [are unfit for habitation, he said.
