London.—Reports reaching London state that the Germans in Prague on Saturday and Sunday hsnged 22 Czechs., The victims in-eludr-d five women, three of whom wir.; h;^i%-ed.'with their'husbands. The charges included sheltering and arming of enemies of Germany, aiding, Jews, and listening to foreign broadcasts.—-U.P.A. STONE-FRUIT CROPS RUINED. Christchurch.—rThe worst hail storm,in 25 years has, completely ruined the ■ fruit crops in the Loburn district 26 miles-north of Christchurch. All the wheat oats, potatoes, and small seeds' crops over a wide area, have been ruined. Following on disastrous losses in Central Otago early,in the spring, this .will cause an. acute shortage of stone fruits in the coming season.
