NATIONAL WAR SAVINGS
Last week 228 towns attained their, quotas of National War Savings. Seventeen of the principal centres were successful, and in each of the 18 postal districts the full district quota wai achieved. In the Oamaru, Timaru, and Westport districts all towns obtained their quotas for the week, and m the Wanganui district the total investments now exceed the full annual quota.
