ATTACKED IN ERROR
Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, December 3. Fighters of the United States Fifteenth Air Force engaged in a strafing mission in Yugoslavia on Friday attacked a Russian column by rriistake, reports Reuters correspondent in Italy.. The error was due to a-Mistake in the identification of the target and the result of faulty navigation.. The . joint chiefs of staff in Washington and the Supreme '•, Commander in the Mediterranean, G-tsneral Maitland Wilson, have sent a mi jssage to the Russian commander expressing regret. '
