The death occurred in the Wellington Hospital at 9.20 a.m. today of Mr. J. Overkott, of 20 Jessie Street, as a result of injuries received when he was caught in the fan belt of machinery he was tending at the Wellington Meat Export Co.'s works at Ngahauranga on Tuesday morning. Mr. Overkott was taken to hospital suffering from a fractured right leg, severe bruises to the back, and shock.
