LONDON, November 10. While the Germans were in Greece they shot 4000 Greeks in Athens and the Pireaus alone. All the people were charged with sabotage, spying on the Germans, sheltering British soldiers, or being in touch with the British. Thirty of them were women. The Germans' last victim was a Greek girl aged 16 who died for writing: "Welcome to the Allies," on a wall. Hundreds of Greeks died in prison.
