MR. PELLOW TO RETIRE
• - After more than 41 years' service, Mr. A. Pellow, chief postmaster, Wellington, will relinquish his duties at the end of this month: He was to have ceased duty on September. 30, but consented to remain in office until the end of the present month in order to assist in the direction of the Post Office effort towards the Victory Loan. Mr. Pellow joined the .Post and Telegraph Department at Waipawa on March 6, 1903. For the earlier part of his career he was associated with the'telegraph side of the service, and
