BUILDINGS IN PARIS

REQUISITION BY AMERICANS Rec. 9 a.m. v NEW YORK, Oct. 3. The way Americans have been dashing around requisitioning hotels, garages, and office buildings in Paris has caused considerable amusement, says the Paris correspondent of the "New York Herald Tribune." The United States army authorities have requisitioned the Eiffel Tower, and this, says the correspondent, has topped all their efforts. The French who have been co-operating with the Americans in taking over buildings were shocked when some young United States officers tried to requisition the Senate building. An appeal was made to United States headquarters, and it was decided to leave the Senate building alone.
