RUGBY, Oct. 3. • •"£■■ vnurchill, answering a question m the House of Commons whether the Government would consider -recommending to the King that some Special honour or designation should be granted to the British airborne forces in recognition of the heroic deeds at Arnhem .and elsewhere, replied that he did not think the award of a medal would be appropriate. Indeed, were such special distinctions to be considered, this very gallant episode would have to be measured with many other noble actions' that had taken place, and might yet take place, in the air as well as on N land.—B.O.W.
