On Tuesday next tho Wellington Repertory Theatre will commence a five nights' season ?.t l 01" Maugham's delightful comedy Lady Frederick," which charmed New Zealand audiences some years ago when staged by the Ethel Irving Company. Its epigrammatic, witty dialogue has lost none of its freshness, nor has the seductive Lady Frederick dini.n__.hccl in charm. Mary Mackenzie will appear in the title role, and Norman Byrne as Paraflino Foiildes, while strong support will bo given by Freda Young, Prue Million, Noeline Myers, Phillls Jeffries, Graham Brown-Douglas, George Cooper, Joseph Saunders, Peto. Harcourt, Eric Lawson, E Philin Markham and B. C. H. Clarke.. Attractive period frocks will be worn hy the -ladies, and the usual attention is being paid to settings.
