STRAFE BY MUSTANGS
RUGBY, October 1. Sweeping in at zero feet over Langeland Bay (off the coast of Den« mark) this evening, Mustangs surprised a surfaced U-boat. Blast from cannon-shells blew six. of the submarine's crew into the sea, and shell strikes were seen on the; conningtower. An enemy destroyer in Kiel Bay was the next target, and strikes were seen on the deck and superstructure. To complete their work, the Mustangs damaged four locomotives inland and blew up a string oj goods trucks. All the-Mustangs returned safely.—B.O.W. ■ •
