RUGBY, October 1. Sweeping in at zero feet over Langeland Bay (off the coast of Den« mark) this evening, Mustangs surprised a surfaced U-boat. Blast from cannon-shells blew six. of the submarine's crew into the sea, and shell strikes were seen on the; conningtower. An enemy destroyer in Kiel Bay was the next target, and strikes were seen on the deck and superstructure.
