PATRIOTIC STREET DAY.
Next Friday the Wellington Trades Council will conduct a street day appeal m aid of the Wellington patriotic funds. The Police Band will play Jtems at Victory Comer from 3 p.m. till 4 p.m., and at United Corner a programme will be given by the Trentham Military Band from noon to 2 p.m., followed by items till 3 p.m. There will also be lolly scrambles for tne children and other entertainments.
